In 1986 JB started The Currell Group Inc., manufacturers representatives in the Electrical industry. JB is presently Managing Director of JNJ Composites & Coatings LLC., a holding company focusing on manufacturing, distribution, acquisitions, and business consulting. 

 

The Currell Group represented three fortune 500 companies and 17 other distinguished electrical manufacturers grossing over 40 million a year in sales. In 1996 he established Phoenix Resins Inc., manufacturers of MAS Epoxies. After building MAS Epoxies into an international supplier to the composites industry, he founded Bio Brands, makers of Bio-Solv (Biobased solvents). Then, subsequently bought as Gibco Flex-mold suppliers of non-skid patterns to the marine, transportation, and defense industries. 

 

He has sponsored several events that push boundaries, from ‘Ocean Planet,’ the fastest American sailboat to finish the Vendee Globe round the world challenge, to a five-time world champion Hydroplane. 

 

JB was born in New Jersey and currently resides in the mountains of New Hampshire. When he isn’t busy operating his factories, JB can be found snow skiing, hiking around Squam Lake with one of his four children, or relaxing on a boat where the weather is warm.
